Oh, with the dating a guy who has longer hair than me, this one guy I dated has hair down to his hips.
I’m generally not attracted to long haired guys. But, i wouldnt count it against him if we struck things off well together. But for pure lust factor, it doesnt do anything for me at all. Hell i’ve even said “that guy (yes, pun, i thought this of you) would look much better with shorter hair”. But, some guys look beter in long hair than others do.
As for me, my hair is quite thick and straight (i remember barbers amazed how thick it was). The current style I have is short, but I style it with gel. Otherwise, without the gel it sticks straight out and looks brushy.
FYI: That hair you see in my pic on the People Pages is indeed natural. Just thought you’d like ta know.
Anyway, long hair on guys is will just about always turn my head. Gotta be well kept, though.
I don’t really have a preference for long-haired guys, even though I married one. Short hair looks good, and I’ve seen some mighty fine looking no-haired men. As the others have said, it’s what looks best on you. The only thing I do seem to have a preference for is color. I do seem inexplicably drawn to dark-haired men. The dark hair is not a must, either–if you’re a blond babe, hey, you’ll catch my eye just as easily. But the dark-haired ones for some reason just really get me going. I have never understood it.

Some women look extremely attractive with short hair. Others can’t quite pull it off as well. I think it has mostly to do with the shape of their face.
I tend to prefer long hair. My last significant girlfriend had long hair when we met and got a short haircut after. It wasn’t a big deal, I just thought she looked better with long hair and told her so. Once. I never said she looked bad with short hair or gave her a hard time about it. She kept it short for awhile then grew it long again.
Of course appearance is going to affect whether or not I am attracted to someone and hairstyle plays a major role in appearance. After I know her it’s not really relevant. And I would never ask a woman to change her hairstyle to my liking. Or ask someone out on the basis of their hair.
A person’s hairstyle isn’t going to be the determining factor in whether or not I want to date them, but just in case anyone cares what hairstyle I absolutely swoon over…
I love boys who have that short in the back, long everywhere else, Akira-ish 'do. That’s just yummy in a bucket.

Well, checking out the SD People Pages first, I only came across three photos that featured kinda what I’m talking about (Realidad, SPOOFE (if his was shorter in the back), and Sue D).

In other words, all the bands who were popular when I was in diapers and being toilet trained . . . y’know, that doesn’t bring back a whole lot of memories for me, seeing as I was all of three years old for most of 1985!

Fish, (take that flock of seagulls and shove 'em up yer–) and anyway…the way you’re wearing your hair in some of the pictures on your webpage is pretty much exactly what I’m talking about. Robert Smith’s is just a really, really messy version of it.

I would date a woman with long hair or short hair as long as it was clean.
I’m a fan of long hair on guys, simply because my dearest love has long hair. (Longer than mine now, I hacked off a bunch ofit and he kept his growing. Grrr. The man will be attacked with scissors in the night.)
So it really doesn’t matter, I just have this Pavlovian instict toward long hair on guys. Overall, hair is not the determining factor in my pro/con list. Not even close.
