OK, I guess I count. I was even at the ChiDopeFest, so I think I am fairly recognized around here even with my low count. My count has doubled since I switched from being a GQ lurker to a GDer about 3 months ago. Still haven’t found the joys of MPSIMS and I hate the Pit.

Been here almost since the beginning. Still under 200 posts. And most of those have come in the past couple of months.

I also have a low post count, and like my low post bretheren & sisteren, my posts are pretty short.
But, like Moonshine, it seems like I’ve brought about 4 or 5 threads to a screeching halt. Oh well…
I also prefer to lurk and not repeat what has already been posted.

I thought I was here a long time before posting, but I see a lot of people have me beat.
Not only have I been here a (relative) while and still have a low post count, but…I blew right past 100 and missed it! 
I guess thats not such a big deal anymore.
This is 55 after over a year!
I check in every couple of days (unless it’s slow at work, then more often).
I do this in real life as well…I survey the action, get a feel for what is going on and only pipe up when I have something profound or of interest to say.

The complexion of the board changes and seems to cycle. There will be times when I respond to many threads, and then for a while there seems to be nothing that I can relate to. Although I visit the board frequently, sometimes I just scan the subject lines and never even open a thread.
I think I count for this. Kinda.
I don’t like to post much. I have a tendency to start babbling. I hit submit…and then I actually READ what I just said, and cringe and hope no one else did.
I’ve been lurking on this set of boards since April of 1999 and have made fewer that thirty posts (I think). My average is fewer than two posts per month, which is probably not a record, but still rather impressive in this context. Coincidentally, though, this is my third post in one day, so it’s a strange day to boast of not posting much.

My count is sort of low. Sort of.
I go to college, so no, I don’t work (classes and work do not mix with me; I think I’d probably quit school, which isn’t conducive to what I want to do).
I can remember when I was a newbie, too. I even remember why I first posted.

…well, not exactly a L-O-N-G time, but I’m of the lurk-&- enjoy-but-seldom-post persuasion.
Same with me…been here a while, and posted a bit at first, but my job takes a lot of my time (damn them!) so I don’t feel I can contribute to a discussion with all of my concentration. Several times I make a comment in GD, but then don’t have time to go back and follow up, and I think that’s sloopy debating, so now I mostly lurk.
sigh…make that <b>sloppy</b> work…another reason I don’t post is my terrible spelling.
and of course I forget that ubb is different from html. runs screaming into the corner before he makes any other mistakes
