Residents of Ohio and Florida can once again turn the TV or radio on and not have to hear how [candidate X] is an evil scum sucker who wants to sell your children to the gypsies.
Though you have to hand it to them, they kept with it until the last minute. I got 3 recorded message phone calls yesterday afternoon.
I have it on good authority that [Candidate X] kicks puppies, too.

And no more damned yard signs. Most people were gracious enough to get rid of them by this afternoon.
But if certain other people don’t take down the rest of those damned Bush/Cheney signs by tomorrow, I’m gonna go out in the dead of night and collect myself a nice little bonfire.

Of course, it’s also a pain to have to keep your children tethered to a stake in the front yard so they won’t be stolen and sold.
And soon the Pit will quiet down to more mundane pittings, like dentists and naked molerats.

Or, maybe it was. Anyhow, I have never pitted naked mole rats. Whatever they want to do is just fine, as long as it’s confined to private property clearly designated for that purpose.
