I’m trying to find a movie about a man who was terribly abused as a child and later married a submissive woman and had a daughter, who had always adored him until she got interested in boys. When the girl became an adolescent, he wouldn’t allow her to date and she got mad and called him a bastard and he shot her.
I can’t remember the stars or the name of the movie. I thought it was Tony Danza but can’t find it on IMDB.

Found it! Deadly Whispers 1995 starred Tony Danza and Pamela Reed. Very good story about a real life situation with a person who had multiple personalities.
Oh, I remember that movie. Was it made for TV? They filmed it in El Dorado, CA. I remember when they were filming the grass cutting scenes at a place not far from where I grew up.
I saw it on tv a few years ago. Very interesting subject.
