I am trtying to find a new Shasta cola-Shasta Zero Sugar Cho•Co•lat De•lite. I went to the Shasta site, looked up that particular soda, and they had a button to find all the locations…which just lead to a long list of places that sell Shasta soda in general. Where can I find this particular flavor?
From this page, you can locate individual flavors.
The choco delite is on the third page. Click on the can and then “locate products” at the top. You should get stores in your area if they have it.
None of my local stores have it.
That site has a button that leads to where you can buy…Shasta Soda in general.
That site says it is not available in Portland or Seattle. Is there some site I can order it from?
Amazon didn’t have it. It might be too new and (guessing) only in large markets at this point.
I just added Cola to my search and all the local stores came up so it seems to be a a matter of waiting until it gets to your area.
You might see if the manager where you buy can special order it.
ETA: You can order direct through the Shasta site but it’s a limited selection of flavors.
Unfortunately, that isn’t on the order list.
Sorry! The can in the picture was exactly what you were looking for, so I ASSumed it had to be there. When will I learn? LOL
How about just calling the company? The website lists the customer service phone number as 1-800-834-9980. There’s also the usual links to their pages on all of the major social media sites. You might, for instance, post to their Twitter page to ask them. Or look for the bottling company rep at your local store; the man or woman who restocks that section of the soda aisle. They may know more.
I have no fix for you, but just wanted to share my complete sympathy. Shortly before it was discontinued, I was trying to stock up some Nitro Pepsi Vanilla, and the websites from Pepsi and the local retailers would direct me to every place in the city, often claiming it was actually “in-stock” on the retail stores website, and almost all of them lied.
Same for when I was looking for some of the limited releases from the more-or-less local Left Hand Brewing Company.
I swear, the (lying) online directories are one of those things that push me into the hands of various online ship-to-me options even when I want to keep my local stores going because of the inaccuracies!
Obviously, the right hand didn’t know what The Left Hand was doing.
Zing I say, zing!
Seriously, and back to the OP, is the shortage or difficulty the point? To drive up interest and demand as a marketing gimmick? I mean, clicking on the links it seems to be the case, especially the “enter to win a SZSCCD (not typing out the name) Mini-fridge”. Because I’d be afraid of finding something I really like and then it’s gone in a matter of months.
I don’t think it’s either. It’s a new product, possibly just coming out of test markets.
Hopefully it’s better than the seventies Shasta Chocolate Soda, which was the worst soda I’ve ever tasted.
That doesn’t get me any closer to that particular flavor than the other links already posted in this thread. It isn’t particularly hard to find Shasta, y’know.
It’s got functionality where you can choose the product and put your zip code in.
For example, they sell the Regular Cola at El Rancho Supermercados and somewhere called Cash Saver, but they also sell the Zero Sugar Tiki Punch at the Sam’s Club near me, but not at Cash Saver.
As I mentioned before, it isn’t available in any store in Oregon or Washington, which is why I am looking for a place that will ship it to me.
