I had a book once upon a time on “million selling records,” possibly this one. I’ve long since lost the book, but I can remember some of the photos in it quite clearly. Acker Bilk, blowing his clarinet, Slim Whitman, Roger Williams, and I think Jonathan King (“Everyone’s Gone to the Moon”).
The photo of King was really goofy. It was almost as though he was wearing a grayish afro wig. And I haven’t been able to pull up anything on Google Images remotely resembling it. Anyone???

Yep, I know about his secret life. Just looking for this goofy picture. Don’t know when it might have been taken. I got the book in the early 1980s. Hmmm. . . Maybe Zsofia can locate a copy at the liberry???
Have you noticed that, according to your own link, you can buy another copy of that book for $1.80? If you really want the photo, it does not seem like a huge price to pay.
Well, I’d like to thank all the people who worked so hard to answer this question. Here’s a video of King wearing the Afro wig. The pic in the book I referenced was B/W, so I couldn’t tell that it was one of those multi-colored Afro wigs, it was probably this shot, cropped at the neck.
