Looking for an online game...

The object was to clear a screen of small differently coloured squares with symbols on them. You click on any two squares that could be linked by a minimum of 2 lines. A line would link them and they’d disappear.

It was on msn.com a long time ago, but I can’t find it there now, or anywhere else. It was too popular/good a game to have simply disappeared. I think it had the word ‘double’ in the title.

Anyone know where I can find it now?

Bumpety bump, Checkbook and Pen.

Would this be what you’re looking for? http://classic.zone.msn.com/noahsark/

Are you perhaps talking about ‘Glinx’? Try www.popcap.com : that’s the people who made it, if I remember correctly.

<< Herblock’s Law: if it is good, they will stop making it. >>

Glinx is on Yahoo Games, now, as are most PopCap games.

I remembered the name. It’s called Double Trouble. The version I played is no longer on MSN, but I found a similar (more basic) version.

Now I am off to popcap, because that’s one place I didn’t look. Thanks for the replies so far.

I would be your BEST friend if you could tell me where I can download it for my Pocket PC!!

The noahsark game looks like it is the same game (rules wise). It’s not ‘double trouble’ but it will do for now.

As someone said, the popcap games are on yahoo, and there seems to be a ‘classic’ msn zone (which I did not find when I was lookig earler) But right now I have about 12 screens open frantically downloading stuff for the PDA, and about 4 simultaneous trains of thought! This is turning out to be £299 well spent!

I think I remember the game you mean. Didin’t it have a really hectic drum sound track? Although this version appears to be a little different to the online version, it may be what you are looking for. On the other hand, it could be the more basic version you said you’d already found. Sadly I am not blessed with a PDA to try it out on…but I hope it is the right one.

Sqwerticus That’s the one! Thanks. When I get home I’ll try to get it onto my PDA.

Last night I found a PDA version of the similar one (Noahsark). The biggest difference between noahsark and double-trouble (apart from visually) is that in noahsark you can have any number of ‘lines’ between each linked square, but in double-trouble you can only have 2, making it more challenging.
