PC Game Name... What the heck is it?

El Hubbo and I are trying to remember the name of a game we used to have on our PC.

I’m not sure if I remember every detail correctly, but I do remember that it was a simple game. The goal was to line up four or more objects, causing them to disappear. Every time they disappeared, the player got poitns. A player could choose from three or four formats: jewels, rocks, leaves or wood. For example, if if the player chose leaves, a line of leaf combinations would show up on the side of the screen. Each combination had two or three leaves in different configurations. The player used their mouse to click and drag the leaf combinations into the grid, trying to line up as many objects as possible. When the player got more than four leaves in a row, the leaves would “burn”… The graphics of the game were beautiful and the sounds were kinda cool, too.

Anyone remember this game? What’s it called?

It sounds like a simple variation on the ‘Tetris’ theme, of which there’s literally thousands. Unless you can remember more particulars, I’d give up.

El bumpo.

It kind of sounds like “bejeweled”, from popcap games. But I don’t remember it ever having leaves.

Try Popcap games

It also sounds like Yoshi’s Cookie, although that only had one theme, cookies.

No idea about the game GfH, but your Funky Fries link crashes my normally stable IE, so you might want to check it.

The link checked out, even though the website is quite inane.

Lissen UR, don’t be dissin’ my Funky Fries. I might have to get freaky on you.

Yes, this post is a blatant bump.

I found the game, in case anyone cares. I think it came out in the mid-90s and is out of publication now. It’s called TriTryst; I bought a copy from Half.com.
