I am trying to run down the old comic bit about a psuedo blindfolded mentalist telling what his partner is holding up by getting obvious clues in the partner’s patter, (for instance while holding up a watch)
“You’ve got to face it, time is running out for you to get this one, Tom.”
“Time Magazine?”
“No”
“Life Magazine?”
“Face up to it…”
.
“Maybelline make up?”
“The clock is ticking, Tom.”
“Ah…a watch!”
That’s basically how the bit runs…I am trying to find it in a printed form. I think I’ve seen Abbot and Costello and Crosby and Hope do it. I know I’ve seen Bing Crosby and Donald O’Conner do it. Where can I find it?
