I remember a couple years ago seeing online a computer chair that eclipses that guy’s BMW powered seat computer chair. This was a huge construct that combined the computer chair and teh desk, and had a powered base so you could gently rotate like a flower and watch the sun [or change your view out a series of windows] that had all sorts of bells and whistles like heating, air conditioning, the ability for multiple computer screens. I think about the only thing it didnt do was make coffee and give blowjobs…
I was trying to find it online, but I cant remember the name and it was several hardrive formats ago , so i dont have the link any more… help?
Man, that sounds like something else! No idea, but if you want a really good offkce chair, I can recommend BodyBilt K series. Sold by some office furniture stores, but not all.
With my bad back, I tried all kinds, and this is the only one tht offers really good support and comfort with all needed adjustments. Costs around $700.
I always was tempted to try to buy a Mercedes, Jag or similar seat and convert it for home use, but gave up when saw the prices.
It isnt, but it is sort of like the ghetto version - it is a lot less luxurious that what I remember seeing, but thanks=) it gives me another term to google for.
THe name was sort of wafty new agy bunnyhuggy like ‘aero’ sort of sounding name.
I figured you were talking about these, the infamous Aeron chairs which became a symbol of the over-indulgent dotcoms that wasted venture capital on them and then went belly up…
Well, mine doesn’t do that, but it is far and away the most comfortable desk chair I have ever owned. I spend a lot of time sitting at my desk, and after a succession of $100 chairs kept breaking down I decided you get what you pay for and sprung for the Aeron.
One of the best features of the Aeron is the “pellicle mesh” which supports you but allows airflow, so your butt doesn’t sweat.
I will admit that $1000 is a lot of money, though. There are knockoff versions made by a number of manufacturers that probably come close, but none of those were available for me to try out when I bought mine a couple of years back.
