I’m looking for a TV commercial that aired back in the 1960s or 1970s but can’t remember the product or service advertised. The theme of the commercial was that most people are in a rut. Everyone in the commercial (except for the person sporting the product or service) would come out of their houses, said houses actually being ruts in the ground.

What was the product or service and when did it first air?
