My new favorite commercial!

Bwaaaahahahahahaha!

And it’s from Cullman, Alabama.

“They ain’t mansions. They come in two pieces.”

There is a market for used mobile homes in that fashion? <boggle> I could see the one part kind but the kind that are in two parts and have siding like a stick built house?

But it is a neat commercial =)

This is the greatest short film of all time.

Apparently the commercial was made by this organization that is going out and making commercials for small businesses all over America. Here’s the “Making of” video for this fine, fine commercial

The cougar growl had me rolling. An excellent commercial!

They played part of this over and over on the radio yesterday. I like the part about the stains.

My wife’s boyfriend! HA!

This is my favorite video of theirs.

Dang, I love me a straightforward no-nonsense redneck commercial.

Is the saleswoman included in ANY of the deals? Including those “off the record?”

True Redneck Commercial:

30 years back I was pretending to shop for a car at the local Ford dealer. Got to talking with the salesman and determined, based on accents, we’d growed, er, GROWN, up around Charlottesville, VA. He mentioned that, at the time (early '60s) his dealership had offered free driving lessons with each Chevy sold. I mentioned that I recalled that campaign, and asked how successful it had been.

“Very successful,” he said. “Nobody in The Hills knew how to drive. It’s a wonder some of them had TVs. It was mostly by radio.”

Thems what think “The Waltons” was quaint don’t know The Hills before about 1970. They went to Charlottesville because it was the Big City. In 1964 the Charlottesville Sears was the size of a 7-11 anywhere else. Twenty years later I looked it up and saw it was still smaller than my Chicago suburb.

That was great! Thank you, Ogre!

That site has some coding issues. I keep getting scripts that won’t complete.

I think that shot where she takes a drag on a cigarette while looking out into nowhere is to remind us her looks will be around for five years tops.

They’re called ‘double wides’ and if your gonna live in your mobile home- as opposed to driving it around- that’s what you should get.

I like that they use the same camera I have.

That shot is an homage to Parker Posey in “Waiting for Guffman” when she talks about working at the Dairy Queen. She even looks like her (although the saleswoman is considerably hotter). That alone is enough to love this commercial.

That was very good- thanks for sharing!

Here is my favorite local commercial. Keep in mind that one of their competitors’ mascot is Mario of Mario Bros.

Geico’s talking pothole has been busting me up. “She” sounds a lot like Reese Witherspoon in a southern flick.

It’s disappointing that it’s “fake,” in that it was made by a couple of hipsters who are fans of bad local commercials. But it’s still mighty entertaining. Too bad it’s not *really *a local commercial.
