I’d like to give my SO some framed professional photographs of his old hometown, Reading, Berkshire, for Christmas. Where would be a good place to look for landscapes and cityscapes taken in and around Reading? I’m finding the common English word “reading” is complicating my searches!

You can try a website called model mayhem. It’s a place for photographers and models and makeup artists and others to meet, show their work and such. Now the photogs tend to do mostly fashion/glamor type work but you can search by location and ask them if they do that type of work or if they know a photographer who does.
And I found that adding ‘UK’ narrows things down.
(Don’t be put off by all the wedding photographers, either; many of them include fine art on their websites. This one, for example, the very first Google result.)
