I was watching All Anal Action 15 today. I had never seen any of the prequels, but I thought it wouldn’t matter.
For the most part I was able to understand the characters and follow the story but there was one part that I found confusing:
A repairman comes to Serena’s apartment to fix her refrigerator
A first it seems like they don’t really know one another, but then . . .
. . . they have sex on the kitchen floor, and he never fixes the refrigerator.
So, what’s the deal? Do they know each other or not? Does the repairman appear in an earlier part of the series? Is there some kind of back story that the filmmakers expect fans of the series to be familiar with?
If any of you have seen All Anal Action 1 thru 14 maybe you can help me out.
Whaddaya think the driving impetus of the whole epic storyline is?
It’s an allegorical look at the eternal quest to reach the pinnacle of achievment. Once you’ve achieved perfection, there’s no drive to better yourself. It’s an impossibility.
And besides that,
There’s a whole Freudian subtext going on here. See, the fridge is female sexual frigidity. Hers isn’t working, IOW, she’s not frigid. Misinformed about a healthy sexual appetite by contemporary public mores, she thinks this condition is wrong, and seeks to “fix” that, by having her fridge repaired. The sucession of repairmen who fail to repair anything is a metaphor for the string of psychological quacks who appear to want to help her, but in reality, all they’re doing is screwing her, and then charging her for it.
