Loopy Limericks

***don’t get it…do people just change because they want to after it’s finished? ***

Well, not usually. Once a line is written it stands - and wouldn’t be altered by anyone unless it is crazily incongruous. Similarly, once a limerick is completed, that’s it, and we move on to a new one.
Just another reminder though; the writer of the first line cannot write the last. (In this way the play gets shared around and one person cannot dominate the thread).

Anne was a juggler who had another.
She didn’t talk about who was her druther.
But she showered his balls,

*Yes. Why don’t you start the thread again? There was an another and a druther, but it’s all gotten a bit confused and out of sequence. *

Anne was a juggler who had another.
She didn’t talk about who was her druther.
But she showered his balls,
She stood tall to do them all.

While she tossed indian clubs to her brother.

I hear Fred blowing in my ear

*I was thinking -

‘That makes her muff smoke just like tinder’*

These things are meant to have a twist in their tail!

  • was thinking that "twist in the tail’ helped give Poe his Raven and RLS his dreamer rimes in their tinderlands by the sea. Yes, the muff line burns more.*

I hear Fred blowing in my ear,
Though it’s not with his lips, and it’s queer.

Though it’s not with his lips, and it’s queer.
'Cos the thing that is blowing,

I hear Fred blowing in my ear,
Though it’s not with his lips, and it’s queer.
'Cos the thing that is blowing,
May be his spear just showing

But something’s surely gotten near down here.
