How in the world did you ever persevere?? I have been to your apartments (so many stairs), and touched your piano (forte piano), listened to your hits (and not so “Greatest Hits”!), and I can’t for the life of me understand why you didn’t take your own life given the pain you must have endured???

I think he was thinking of us (i.e. future generations) when he composed; so, thank you Ludwig.

A few months ago, when you were taking a break from posting, we had a thread about Beethoven (+ dumb jokes) that seemed incomplete without a Quasi post.
