i am a killer when it comes to this shit. and don’t you ever question my motives. there is one on the block that is scum. whether you want to play along is your own game. i think i have another.
Against my better instincts…
For starters, you did an improvised “How do I Feel about X” spiel on everyone – in a seperate post per each. The tactic is good, for late to end game, Day 4 or Day 5 - In one singleton post, not so much this early on.
do you think this an ineffective tool to establish where people’s stance are?
or are you more along the lines of this WOW shit that i totally ignore. i mean seriously someone commenting on each post of another individual is helpful in what kind of manner? fuck. i already did that on my own.
I know he is not confirmed. I am reminding him of that fact. He seems to be making every move since his magic bag claim as if he already was confirmed. His comments that he doesn’t owe me anything is similar to him pissing on me and saying that I should be thankful for that much. He wants to act Ex Cathedra, and I am reminding him, and the game at large that he could very well be a heretic. The dodges to my questions don’t help him.
The tool, when properly used and timed, is very effective.
I am not talking about WOWs. I’m not sure what you wish to gain by admitting that you skim the game.
There is more value in the game, for all involved, if you can point to one concrete post with substance, over pointing to multiple posts, across multiple pages that look and feel tacked on.
Or, can you remember every single post you have made in this game, and can pull them out on an as needed basis?
BTW, as I think it might be related, why did you ask to be subbed out?
I think Meeko at times looks at the game differently. He’s a little paranpid of being killed (A useful skill in real life) and so looks at being confirmed as Town as being more important than finding a Scum.
Meh, lists of what you think of each player are not as helpful as you’d think and they hand scum a nice little list of townies that you’d happily vote for because you think they’re scummy. Pleo is well aware of what he’s doing and is doing it for his own inscrutable reasons. I don’t like it either but I don’t don’t like it enough to vote him for it right now.
I have no idea how meeko looks at the game other than sometimes I am quite sure that we are reading different games. Although I will say with all the talk of hashing on Day 1, I thought, for once it would be appropriate to describe the game as going sideways.
peeker, I still think you’re making a big mistake in assuming that Boromir and Faramir are supposed to be some sort of masons, just because they’re brothers. OK, so you’ve considered putting a mechanic like that in a game you run… But is there any reason to believe Mahaloth put it in a game? The bit about being concerned about family is completely irrelevant, given that USCDiver (with no canonical family) has it, too. What, you think that those two characters must be masons just because they have a connection between them? It’s not possible that one of the brothers was one of the folks disposed of and replaced by a Scum?
Seriously, this is the kind of argument I would have expected from Meeko, back when he was just starting off.
I’m back, catching up on all that’s transpired since yesterDay.
Somethings that I carried over from then:
MHaye’s acronym affair. I can’t see this as being more than a simple wordplay that’s generated interest on other players. If he’s scum, it’s hardly a scum-tell. If he’s town, it could be a simple slip and scum are trying to force votes on him.
Astral’s comments appear sloppy and could very well be scum-tells, but I’m not convinced he’s scum. He’s been relatively quiet since yesterDay, so that might be telling of itself.
Special Ed’s been pinging me since he first introduced his handshake. As I said before, I didn’t understand what it meant, and I didn’t want to rush a vote on him for it. His posted PM is not convincing me that he isn’t scum, but I’m willing to wait to toMorrow before pressing that.
Meeko… well, let’s just say that I read what others reply to, in order to glean information off him.
That brings me to Chipacabra.
All of these are worthy indicators pointing to scum. I don’t have the confident feeling I had in voting Suburban but for now you seem as likely a player for scum as the others.
vote Chipacabra
But there’s just other thing:
I’m not familiar with most of you as players, and I’m sure the feeling’s the same. And Nanook has been spot-on in his posts in this game. But this just sounds all wrong. There’s the remote possibility that Chip is playing a different role— he could’ve been a doc or cop in the previous game— and now he’s playing a townie and trying not to get lynched. What I’m saying is that this is a weak argument, IMO. I know Nanook hasn’t based his vote on this, it’s just his observation.
