What the fuck is wrong with Brodeur anyways? Letting in 3 goals on four shots is inexcusable. The Devils were up 2 going into the second period and they just laid down and let the Pens screw them right up the ass. What a bunch of fucking hacks!

I admitted it. They suck in every way that a team can suck.
Jagr came down with HIV, and the rest of the team needs a heart transplant.
But I concede. I will watch hockey no more this year. It’s too depressing.
Now now, Airman–we’ve had a good run. Most years the Pens go down against teams they have no business losing to (even last year–the Flyers were a better team, but when you get them down 2 games to 0 you gotta finish them). The Devils are a damn good hockey team–there’s a reason they’re the defending champions. I expect them to repeat.
Besides, the Pens accomplished two very important goals this year: they enabled us to stick our tongues out at Flyer fans (hey, guys, we were happy to avenge your team by knocking the Sabres out for ya :p), and they got rid of the Caps again. (And again…and again…and again…) 
Yeah, the Pens had a good run of it, but 8 unanswered goals in the last two games, and at HOME nonetheless? That’s a bit inexcusable.
The only one who I didn’t lose respect for over the last two games was the Moose. I pray to God that he doesn’t get fed up about this series and leave the Pens, since he’s the only thing keeping us afloat.
I’m suprpised to see the Avs still in it, especially without Forsberg in the line. My head is spinning.
Not that I’m unhappy 
Jester, the good news is that I fully expect the Pens to have Hedberg next year.
The bad news is that with all the free agents coming due, the rest of the team is liable to be Lemieux and the roster of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Baby Penguins.

I think it’s waaaaay too early to say Avs in six. I’ve been going for Colorado all year… in the SDMB hockey pool I had Forsberg, Tanguay, Hejduk, Bourque, Abeschier and Niemenen. I’m just not sure they can get it done without a second line which they seem to have lost with the Forsberg injury. Drury needs some help and unless they drop Hejduk down I don’t think they’re gonna have the depth they need. Jersey’s a machine and if Mogilny gets rolling :eek:.
okay, so I have to show my colors of who I am cheering for, but I tell you, its going to be one hell of a series. The Avs seem to be doing an excellent job of taking adversity in the chin and pushing on
1st off…it’s way to early to say that the Avs will be in the final, period! They squandered a 3-1 lead to the LA Kings, maybe the Blues can pull this series out of their ass. For the Love of God…don’t suck Turek…please don’t suck!!! Just be average, that’s all the teams needs, allow one more soft goal and all your past successes will be forgoten.

I still haven’t cooled off. It’s amazin, all these years as a Blues fan and i’m still suprised yearly, on our failure to win the cup. Sure we came damn close this year, but yet sooo far away. This should of been our year, but alas i shall have to dub next year as “our year” :p. I do give credit to the Avs though, showed a lot of heart and grit, but i’m gona have to pull for the Devils, who i’m sure will close out the Pens. Sigh…
