Every year NPR would read a poem by their Backford Black “former large-animal veterinarian” that began with “Lord & Taylor” and go through hundreds of store names until it ended “What have we done to Christmas?”

Thing is, it’s not Baxter Black. But it’s been so long since I’ve been able to listen to Morning Edition that I can’t remember the name of the commentator.

Yup, Chuck Kraemer is a Boston TV reporter and commentator. He first did this at least 20 years ago on TV, and modifies it, if not every year, but every few years to cover the changing lingo and times.
