And there it is! Finished it tonight. I honestly have no idea how I got past the supercomputer. I just did the same thing I had been doing, but for whatever reason it worked this time. Who knows, I guess I must have been careless before.
In any case, I got through into the computer. The nine truths thing was a little lame, but the final grid puzzle was fun to figure out.
The ending was satisfying, if slightly underwhelming. Can I tell you exactly what the “real” story was? Nope. Too many layers and meta-layers to be sure. Do I care? Also nope. The game was a ton of fun, super weird and unpredictable, beautiful looking, and totally original. I loved it.
I should ask, before this thread dies, if you’ve got any other recommendations for games, Mahaloth, since this was such a home run! (Particularly if they can be played on the Switch). It turns out I finished Lorelei right before a weekend in which I’m going to have a surprising amount of available play time
