Also, just curious. Are you suggesting that shortbread biscuits are NOT a product of Scottish heritage? Maybe someone should clue in the Scots, because they seem to still believe it’s true…

Cecil suggests that the name “Oreo” might come from the Greek for mountain. “Mountain” is “oros” in Greek. “Oreo(s)” means beautiful.
