LOST to have a book tie-in!

Not sure about this. Sounds like a way to milk us of our money.

In a leap of corporate cross-promotion rarely seen in the TV business, Hyperion Books – the publishing arm of Disney, which also owns ABC – will publish a mystery novel by “Gary Troup” sometime next year. Troup, “Lost” viewers will discover later this season, was one of those who didn’t survive the crash of flight 815.

As it turns out, though, he had delivered the manuscript for his latest book – to Hyperion, of course – a few days before the crash.

The title of “Troup’s” novel, which Hyperion says will be ghost-written by a well-known writer, should give further fuel to “Lost” theorists. It’s called “Bad Twin,” and it’s a mystery about a wealthy man’s search for his no-good brother – which seems to tie into a popular theory among fans that the island houses doubles for each character.

Interesting…I’m not sure how I feel about that to be honest. I really like Lost and I suppose if the books are good I might read them.

There’s already been one (badly reviewed) Lost book: Endangered Species

Although this upcoming book is a completely different concept as “Endangered Species” was a (sort of) tie-in to the series.
