Just poking my nose in to clarify that the niece finally did reply on the ancestry.com thread, and said that she’d gotten the wallet.
Just in case anyone else here had been following this like a mystery novel, given up hope, but now feels like they’ve been given a new chapter to read.
Thanks for the update. Still hope definitive word on Mr. Ivens’s fate will turn up.
