The baby girl’s name is “Java Kumala,” inspired no doubt by something on a Starbuck’s menu.
Sawyer later commented that the absurdity of the kid’s real name is irrelevant because he makes up nicknames for everyone anyway.

Nah, it just comes from living in Hawaii for the past five years.
According to Wikipedia, the baby is now two weeks old. Still, it’s news to me and although I usually don’t care about celebrities’ lives, I love Lost, I love Sawyer, and I have a feeling Holloway is a genuinely good guy, so I’m happy for him.
Kumala is apparently the baby’s Indonesian mother’s surname.
Java is not a Hawaiian name, as Hawaiian lacks J and V (it uses W for the V phoneme). My guess is it’s also an Indonesian name.
It is a Starbuckian name.
His kid is totally going to have daddy issues.
Congrats to the new parents. I hope Holloway is the genuinely nice person he comes across as in interviews. Sure enjoy him on the show.
All the best cowboys do.

Well, it certainly is for an island. For a person, I don’t know.
In any case, if the name relates to his wife’s surname, then that seems a lot less weird. I really thought he was going for “celebrity baby name weirdness.”
Should’ve been Namaste Holloway.
