Oh and a story. I took a class called “Voice for the Actor,” and one assignment we had was to make a list of ‘delicious’ words, words we liked the sound of. My list had words like plethora, perpendicular, sospechoso, susurrar, and about 20 others. Everyone else’s list followed in the same way, just as the assignment had been given.
Then we get to Ramona, an older student who was very strange and never quite got it. She begins to read her list: “peach, pumpkin, pear, hot chocolate…” Like I said, she didn’t quite get it.
