So. Lumines is the only game I have for my PSP.
I’m so glad I finally got it. (I mean I know the concept… but games go a LOT farther now)
I look at Tetris, and I think its interesting that a Puzzle game of such… Quality and Addictiveness can be made with 7 or so shapes.
I look to Lumines, and while it obviously Nods to the Great Granddaddy, it did something I thought a puzzle game could not do. It Expedites the puzzle aspect.
That is, the “shapes” are easier;
“No way these pieces can cause me to lose the game!”
And then… once I get to be a “regular” at Lumines who can hold his own, I gain the “Shake Ya Body” Board.
Ok. I can only watch the foreground OR the background at one time NOT both!!
I can only hope that… the game gets … weirder.
What are your thoughts on Lumines, or are you still playing , and therefore cant comment?
