Hi Dopers. I’ve been lurking since the early 2000s but only joined up relatively recently. I too suffer from somebody said it better disease - usually because I take so long composing my posts and others get in first. Anyway this is a great place to lurk if not post!
I have posted 38 times since Apr. 2002. Three of those posts were today in the GQ fire hydrant thread.
And this post makes 39 total/4 today. A new record.
I post quite a bit more over at the JREF forum.
I don’t know if I really count as a lurker anymore, I’ve posted 140 times now since June last year.
But then, I do read nearly every thread in MPSIMS without replying, plus a hell of a lot of the BBQ/IMHO/GQ/CS threads too. I find the time difference puts me off participating, I’d be joining a discussion hours after most participants have gone to sleep. And so many of the GD threads are US-centred, so I stay out of there!
