Welp, I see Vlad has been impaled, or whatever the sensation is when one is banned. So much for another thread-resurrector.
I can’t help wondering, though: just why DO these curious beasts root about in the SDMB sarcophagi, and drag the moldering carcasses into the living room? What is this strange compulsion? What do they hope to gain? Besides banning.

More to the point, if he was a guest how did he find the threads? I thought that guests could not search.

How’d he find the old threads? Good question. Perhaps he dropped down to the “Display Options” toolbar at the bottom of the forum index, set the “From the” option to “Beginning”, and trolled (oh, I slay myself sometimes) through the titles for anything that looked promising. Seems like a clumsy, tedious method, though.
Or he coulda been a sock, I dunno.
Good riddance in any case.
