Does anyone here know the lyrics to Surfin’ Dead by The Cramps? Maybe some guitar chords too?
I did a search for “surfin’ dead” and “do the dead” on Hotbot, but I didn’t see anything useful. What’s the URL of the best search engine for finding this sort of thing?
Well, here’s the lyrics. (I’m ashamed to say I just plugged the title into Yahoo - usually works well with song titles and/or scraps of lyrics).
And here’s a link to the Tab Mall. (Tablature is where is at, especially if you’re a beginner - I just got a Fender bass for my birthday.) I didn’t check to see if “Surfin’ Dead” is there - but it’s a site worth having anyway.

For most searches I use google.com, it loads fast and works fast. For example, for this I typed in “surfin dead by the cramps” and it was the first result.

I’ve been looking for a Telecaster. Vintage White with a rosewood fretboard. That’s all. How simple can you get? Unfortunately, Fender doesn’t offer that combination. So I’d have to shell out around 1,500 simoleons to get what I want.
BUT! Squier (by Fender) has exactly what I’m looking for. For $220. I’d like to have a real Fender, but for about six times the price, I think I’ll pass. Hey, for my level of playing, the Squier is fine.
(Oh, I used to have an American Fender as described above. I bought it from a friend when he needed money and I wanted his guitar. I sold it back to him when I needed money and he wanted the guitar back. At the time, we’re talking about $400.)
