Has anyone heard about the new upcoming series Wayward Pines ? I know MNS gets a lot of hate around here, and it may not be fair to call it “his” series as I think he may only be directing some of it.
I’ve seen the tv ads and it looks pretty good. Obviously somewhat *Twin Peaksish *with maybe some *Fargo *thrown in(?)
Anyone heard / seen anything else about it?

I’ll probably watch Ep1 with an open mind, in spite of determining from his earlier work that his concepts are better suited to written short stories than dramas as such.
The cast looks solid enough to be worth a viewing.
The link says it’s a mini-series, which leads me to believe the entire story, including an ending, has already been formulated. MNS is an executive producer and directed the pilot.
Looks like it’s based on a novel, Pines, by Blake Crouch.
Hopefully this all means MNS did not have much writing input. Actually sounds interesting, though.
The twist is it may actually not suck.
