I was all excited to try Carbonite until I saw in small print that they only support Intel Macs, which mine is not.
I found Backjack, which does support backup from my G4, but it’s kind of pricey compared to Carbonite. Backjack offers blocks of storage (which can get pricey) and I understand Carbonite offers unlimited storage.
Random Google searches get me a lot of returns that offer business/multi-user pricing (read: very expensive and unnecessary since I’m just looking to back up me).
Are there other comparable-to-Carbonite online backup services that I’m just not finding, or am I stuck with what I’ve got?

Unfortunately both the services profiled there require an Intel processor, which I don’t have. Bummer.
They cover five services, and three are Universal. Did you check the second page of the article?
Did you try www.mozy.com ? It is either free or extremely cheap ($5 a month) for unlimited storage. I have the unlimited plan for my PC and it works great but I understand that it works for a Mac as well. The first backup can literally take days though but you can still use your computer. After that, you can just set it to run overnight and it only takes a few minutes. You can also access your files from anywhere.
Ah-ha, didn’t see the little 1 2 / NEXT >
I’m checking out Mozy. They are DEFINITELY cheaper than Backjack; the only thing I’m worried about is that Mozy doesn’t have phone support like Backjack does, where someone answers by the third ring, no hold music, no automated menus, and they are all Mac, all the time—it’s awesome (I’ve had experiences with other cross-platform things where I always seem to get the dude on the phone that knows nothing about Macs). Mozy advertises online chat support, but I’ve had both good and horrible experiences with the chat scenario before.
So I have an email in to Mozy to see if they offer a money-back guarantee. If they do, I’ll check them out and see how their chat support works for me. I have to decide if immediate phone support is worth paying twice the price, because I’m sure if my rig craps out or my backup has gone haywire and I’m freaking out, I’m going to want immediate, helpful support.
