Two separate things, first the iCal questions:
First, is there a way to insert a week or delay a calendar’s start by a week (or more)? I spent a ton of time setting up a training schedule and it might not be able to start on time, so it would be great if I could push everything back one week–same event details, same days of the week, same everything just instead of starting on, for example, the 1st, the calendar starts on the 8th.
Gotta be an easy way to do that right, instead of changing every single event?
Second, borne from having spent so much time putting in each detailed and slightly different training event occurring practically every day of the week for three months, is there a way to basically copy a table of events from a document on the web, label a Day 1 start date or assign values and have it imported into iCal?
Failing either of those things, anybody know of a calendar management program that will do these things? Especially if I can use it to export the calendar to iCal, I really like being able to have everything so at hand as iCal is, in my laptop and phone.
And, last question:
Is there a utility in my Macbook Pro that would easily show me my internet usage? We’ve had broadband here with no limits, but we’re moving out to the country where our option will be satellite internet and the service provider already in place has a tier system with usage caps. We like watching TV & streaming movies, and of course don’t want to change our lazy lifestyle one bit. So I’d like to see where we’re at, which tier we should go for, or if we’re doomed from the start.
The tiers and caps are based on 30 day periods, so it would be great if the utility detailed the usage month by month and we could see where/what our peaks are.
I googled and saw that there are utilities to download, but I’m always surprised by the cool stuff I had no idea my Mac could do and don’t want to download a redundancy.
