I have a friend who has a Mini with Leopard. She also has dialup. This is causing her massive headaches when trying to run periodic OS/app updates - the latest is estimating 100 hours to download.
She does have a G4 notebook and access to broadband at the local coffee shop. I do not know the OS…
Is there a way for her to get Leopard updates using the G4 and then put them on a CD or a thumb drive, and then transfer to the Mini?
Absolutely.
Go here and click the download button. She may want to run Software Update first, and make a list of all the downloads she needs, and then follow the same procedure to get them all at the same time.
