I have Windows 98, why cant I talk to Mac?
Your OS has got nothing to do with it. I’ve searched a bit, but until you feel up to filling in the ??? bit of that URL, nobody’s gonna be able to help you.
If I’m reading the HTML source correctly (and that’s entirely possible), the textarea for your reply (Type your message about this site:) is limited to 220 characters.
That whole domain seems pretty slow to me… also the guy’s images are all busted, but that seems unrelated. The textarea restriction will, in well-behaved browsers, prevent you from typing more than that, but that’s all. The error code isn’t generated via JScript or anything, and is being returned by Apple’s server itself.
That form doesn’t work for me in either Mozilla, IE or lynx - the form parser is definately borked. I’ve sent some feedback via their main feedback form - you can do the same if you want.
I’m not familiar with the directory structure of Macs, but it did seem to me he’d done the Mac equivalent of using “W:\My Documents\images” for the img src.
