The cat lovers of America announced today that U.S. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and U.S. Rep. Steve King (R-IA) have lost the cat vote.
This will be the second straight election cycle in which a U.S. Senate candidate lost the American cat constituency to a favored dog or bunny.
On June 18, incumbent Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY), who had been in the Senate since 1985, was soundly beaten by his Democratic challenger, Louisville, Kentucky, mayor and non-human mongrel, Alison Lundergan Grimes.
