I thought you weren’t supposed to know what the sentence was in Mad Libs. You just provided words that were specific parts of speech, and afterwards found out what the sentence said. If you know, it’s kind of like cheating.
Yeah, that kind of defeats the purpose of Mad Libs, if you know the sentence ahead of time.
Why don’t you try it this way:
Give me a noun, a verb, a number, a place, a noun, and a person’s name.
In December, ____ are very rare. _____ is difficult because of the snow, as well. Almost ______ people vacation in ______ every winter. The _____ ends with everyone returning to work and school, including _____.
I think you’re right…you really do need the questions first. This is more like “Fill in the blanks”…which isn’t actually very fun at all, more like a test question.
Or you could do it like the TV game show, Match Game.
