Theios, that sounds good, especially with the chance of rain. Should we perhaps meet up at your house? If so, directions ought to go out by email, rather than in the thread. And if you don’t want to dig out everybody’s email, send the directions to me (rt(at)chesapeake(dot)net), and I’ll make sure everyone gets them.
Not to mention, that would let you sleep until the last possible moment. 
I think we should stick to the plan of meeting at the parking lot that’s right at the second bridge. It’s much easier to find than my house, and we’ll want most of the cars there in Harpers Ferry. (so that folks who need to leave right after the hike can do so) We can pile into one or two cars and drive up to the trailhead from there.
Odd… I posted this reply, but it doesn’t seem to show up in the thread list. It didn’t move the thread up on the page either.
I guess I should be thankful that the hamsters only nibbled on it instead of eating it outright.
Ack, I’ve been away from my beloved SMDB for a few days. Yes, carpooling sounds good. We can work out the details when… I’m more awake (guzzles coffee).

Sorry, I was out running errands in the pouring rain. Of course, it’s warm and dry now, and the sun was out just a little while ago.
I’m OK with it if we decide not to go. It could be fine tomorrow, but it could also be pretty nasty. And the trail’s sure to be wet either way. The more I think about it, the less I’m inclined to go all the way to Harpers Ferry to not go hiking. 
Well, the hike has been rained-out, but we have a new and improved plan and it might mean that more MADs can join the fun: We are meeting tomorrow, Sunday, at Taqueria Poblano at 11am. The Sunday Brunch sounds muy yummy.
So far we have RT and Mrs Firefly, TeleTronOne and myself. Anyone else game?
