Calling all Mid-Atlantic Dopers – let’s have a DopeFest!

BrattiAtti said in another thread (I can’t find it at the moment, my search-fu is down) that she’ll be visiting DC this month. So to welcome her to our side of the country, I’m putting together a DopeFest for Sunday, May 18.

Details so far:

I live just west of Vienna, VA. My place is accessible by I-66 and, with a brisk walk, the Vienna station on the Orange Line. And I have a patio.

I’m confriming BrattiAtti’s schedule, and will finalize a time soon.

Oh darn - I can’t make it because I am hosting a baby shower for my sister-in-law that day :frowning:

Here’s the plan: Bagels & lox at 11 AM, with the usual snack foods all afternoon. Anybody who wants to bring something, please make it dairy / vegetarian. If people are still here around 6, let’s head over to Old Country Buffet.

Bummer. I’ve got some friends’ wedding the night of the May 17th in Blacksburg. I wish I could make it.

Poor Scuba_Ben is going to be stuck, all alone, with the chore of keeping me entertained all afternoon long.

Unfortunately, Sundays are typically spent with my daughter, otherwise that would be great.

BrattiAtti shows up in one week, and I still need someone to bring the red tape.

Sundays aren’t good for us. Besides which, I met the girl out West, AND took her to Canada.
