You know Madeline right? The loveable little French orphan girl of many charming childrens books. My daughter loves these books. They have made several of these books into direct-to-video movies. Most are good. My daughter loves these as well.
Not Madeline: Lost in Paris however!
Apparently David Fincher and Quentin Tarantino were consulted before making this ultra-violent, shock-fest!
This film, with a target audience of 5-8 year olds, features child abductions, forced child labor (in a dark basement), a con man, a scary hag (who runs the child labor camp), threats of physical violence with scissors, a solitary confinement cell, pillows made with human hair, an abandoned dog, and songs so bad they will make you sick!
WTF!? This film scared the hell out of my daughter. Heck, it scared the hell out of me! No warnings. Nothing.
This steaming pile of goats poo somehow enlisted the talents of Christopher Plummer, Lauren Bacall, and Jason Alexander.
Considered yourself warned.
