Madonna flashes us her ballot.

Here. The letter is also up at her site, madonna.com , and also at the Drudge report, but I can’t ferret out the urls to link to either of them.

If you want to know what the fans think, there is this thread at a very popular MB (in case you’re wondering, everyone’s post count is low because they just changed software and re-opened on Jan. 1st).

Here’s hoping this doesn’t end up in The Pit!

I thought she moved to England.

Of course she splits her time between England and the US. Her baby-daddy lives in NYC.

She’s still an American citizen and has the right to vote in federal elections.

With that being the case, I hope nobody listens to her. Not becase I have anything against Wesley Clark, but because if she can’t figure out why people “pay attention to everything” she does, then she has no business trying to tell people who to vote for.

I dunno, I think it’s kind of neat.

Well, it’s hardly news that Madonna goes both ways…

Well, that clinches it. I’m voting for Dean.

Lord Ashtar, I would have to argue that she isn’t really trying to get people to vote for Clark. If this were about making a political ad, she would have outlined his platform, instead of making vague statements about what a great guy he is.

I think she’s just trying to get people to vote, period. If you went to the MB thread you’d see that I posted:

Ah, so she’s just continuing her Rock the Vote[sup]TM[/sup] work that she started back in 1992 (when it was revealed that she hadn’t actually voted herself before appearing in an ad exhorting others to).

SHe voted in the last election. And she’ll vote in this one. They have special polling stations set up in celeb homes nowadays, so they don’t have to worry about security.

As Madonna goes, so goes Cyndi Lauper…

Yeah, let’s listen to the star of ‘Swept Away’ for political advice. The kind of person whose political choices could actually be swayed by someone like Madonna should probably be encouraged to utilize their God-given right to abstain from voting…forever.
