Across the country people are talking about his. In the still photo of the deed, she just looks like she’s getting what she wants, and poor Britney looks a little in anguish. It may just be my perception, but I can’t help but think about what they each are thinking:
Madonna: YAAHAHA I get what I want, thanxxxxx young lass. Oh the things they’ll say…
Britney: Pepsi’s not gonna like this, hows my hair, this is not what I thought she’d taste like?
I’m getting really tired of bullshit like this. I don’t mean celebrities of the same sex kissing, I mean all the hubbub that surrounds it. I’m sure they kissed just because they knew it’d be a big story, and I’m just sick of seeing how easy it is for the public’s strings to be pulled.
Slightly Off-Topic Rant: Here’s a thought. Homsexual sex acts, be they oral, anal, or just plain kissing, are inherently no more interesting than their straight equivalent. Being gay is not “cool” or “special.” It’s not even that interesting or different in most ways from how most people live.
So for the last time, to all national media, I DON’T CARE who kissed whom. If they can’t get my attention with something called “talent,” then I just DON’T want to hear about them. I care who is fucking who, or who is kissing who onstage.
Actually… I would have to disagree…
I am not attracted to men… so seeing a man kiss a woman I am attracted to is not as interesting as 2 women I am attracted to kissing each other…
What, are you all surprised by this? It’s MTV, it was probably done for shock value, and lastly, it’s called entertainment in case you all forgot. I mean, it was entertaining and it was quite “hot” if you ask me.
I think this is Madonna’s way of telling the world that she does not feel threatened by the popularity of these 2 young popstars, in fact she embraces them (literally!)
I saw it actually on video, not just the pictures, and it seemed to be a soft little kiss…I think those are just bad pictures taken at the wrong moments.
