I was a dick. I’ve apologized. It made me look bad, and I regret it. What’s your point?
So you’re allowed to lose control but I’m not. Got it.
Apologies will come after I’m dead.
Ya know, I wasn’t really sure what to think about you. I understand that you are either frustrated, or at least giving the appearance of frustration. I don’t know if you ever read the thread I wrote on the offboard site expressing the disapointment in a lot of the guys on my rugby club for bringing a negative attitude onto the pitch, and how I, as their captain, should deal with it. Well, sometimes a poor attitude hurts the team more than a poor tackler.
I’d say I’m sorry in advance if you’re town, but I’m not. I dunno what’s come over you.
Yet another lame reason to vote for sach. I concur that his “deserve to lose” statement is not cool, but is scum more likely to have a bad attitude? Aren’t we supposed to be finding scum? If anything, this strikes me as more of a Town tell.
Oy vey!
ok, this made me laugh. But that being said lets everyone remember that this is a game.
K?
That’s the spirit I said it in. I hope (and assumed) sach took it that way, and that** zuma** would, also, if he’s following along. Just a friendly jab to two guys whose perspectives I enjoy.
Sach, not that it helps now, but he won’t be back ![]()
Right, that’s why I’m not shifting my vote to him. (not that it matters now). If he were here, then he would shift his vote to me, so by not shifting my vote, we keep the same effect as if he voted for me and I voted for him.
Well, with less than an hour to go, it looks like sach is dead meat. sigh I think this is a terrible lynch choice. I would love to try to get someone I think is scummier lynched instead, like Diggit or Hal, but the brief Hal interest is gone and no on else seems to see the giant “scum” sign Diggit hung over his own head
And the votes are spread so thin right now, there’s little chance of any consensus second choice.
I could switch my vote to Darth (or myself!
) to try to get things closer, but I honestly have no read on him at this point, and I don’t like to vote for people if I don’t have some inkling that they are scum. Even if sach is Town, I could just be switching from one Town to another.
Bleh. This is very disheartening.
Diggit has a big sign, really? Do you care to ellaborate on that? If you’re really town, wouldn’t you want to leave us with some usable information, rather than “I was right, you were wrong. Shame on you for lynching town.”?
Dude, if you’re Town, vote for Darth Sensitive! (I’m not going to, although I thought about it, since I can’t find anything in his posts that makes me think he’s any more likely to be scum than you are. But if you KNOW you’re Town, quit playing the martyr and make the play that’s most likely to help your team.)
(My last post is addressed to sachertorte and not Blaster Master, in case that isn’t already obvious.)
My 2 cents on sachertorte:
Again, it was “blatantly obvious”? So obvious that he got the most votes anyway, right? And yet, I’m the only one being blamed for it?
That’s a very key statement. If OAOW’s mislynch were so blatently obvious that it casts suspicion on BlaM, then that must mean that Darth, Fretful, Freudian, Koldanar, Nanook, storyteller, Roosh, and myself are all either incompetent or scum. I dunno…I’m thinking that there just might be a chance that there’s another option.
That said, the fact that ShadowFacts is calling this “a terrible lynch choice” now that the die is just about cast makes me think sach is likely town.
Looks like we’ll see shortly…
Actually I’ve been thinking that I’ve been channeling zuma; so I totally agree with the comment. HazelNutCoffee, how come I’m not channeling you instead!?

I disagree. I think it’s easier to find scum if the entire town is working together. It forces even the scum to at least put forth the effort of trying to combine knowledge, ideas, and information to come to a consensus, which is the meme molefan was trying so hard to instill into our group during Batman. Now, it sounds like I’m trying to say we should all get on the same rut, but what I’m saying is that it’s very hard to find scum when a single player is going out of their way to insult others, setting up unnecessary in-game tension and stonewalling others from looking past their insults to what they’ve actually said.
I’d also like to point out that I laid out a few substantial reasons earlier today about why I thought **sach **was acting funny, and possible reasoning behind it. It wasn’t purely based on that post.
BTW, when I turn up Town, don’t railroad ShadowFacts. Please? I know he could be scum, but find real reasons and not made up ones about how he “defended” me and could only know that because he’s scum.
ShadowFacts could be scum. But not ust because he defended me.

sigh nobody ever said that. I was in the wrong then, and you’re in the wrong now. Why wait until you’re dead to make up to your (supposedly) fellow townspeople?

Are you kidding? I’ve been all over Diggit and explained in detail in multiple posts why I think his vote for sach is suspicious. What thread have you been reading?
Sorry, I tried to get that in before 4pm.

It was close enough that I consider it an honest mistake. No worries.
Day is over, Night to come.
Feel free to mutter to each other about non game related subjects in the meantime.
So, anybody wanna hear what I did last night?
Sorry Townies. I did go over the top and frustration isn’t a good excuse. I hope I’ve left some nuggets of wisdom within the dreck of my craziness, and I apologize for making the game less fun for anyone. I found the game quite exhilarating though! And I think we’ve hit on several topics for future exploration.

How 'bout them Red Sox?
Well, tonight I was going to tell you about Vampires. It was going to be some really good stuff too, shattering preconcieved notions about how they operate and the best ways too kill them.
But frankly I think you all have acted like children (some more than others) and don’t deserve that kind of information at this juncture. Maybe in the morning.
Besides I know no one reads this stuff other than to find out what I am going to post on the next line.
Sachertorte - a Townsperson
Has been lynched.
Let’s look at those final scores (don’t get used to this, but there wasn’t a vote count on this page):
4- sachertorte: Blaster Master, DiggitCamara, Freudian Slit, storyteller, Rugger
2- Darth Sensitive: Pollux Oil, WF Tomba, Koldanar
2- ShadowFacts: Hal Briston, Fretful Porpentine
1- WF Tomba: Darth Sensitive
1- Hal Briston: Nanook
1- Blaster Master: sachertorte
1- DiggitCamara: ShadowFacts

Oh yeah.
48 hours folks, that’s how long you have to grieve. Then Day 3 starts.
Have a good Night.
Sorry, sachertorte.
