I’ve respectfully disagreed with you many a time, and courteously ignored some of your more long-winded rants that went nowhere.
But this line is so over-the-top, nonsensical, and just plain horseshit, that you should be ashamed to have written it.
Pizza’s plan has yet to be implemented for an entire phase and you’re writing it off as having been proven useless. That’s some steaming pile of arrogance.
Long winded rants that go nowhere. you would know a lot about this, wouldn’t you. I still side with Bravo (was it) that nailed it when he said yours boils down to throwing spaghetti to the wall just to see what sticks. It is a glorified shot in the dark.
Hi, I’m Meeko, I speak nearly in analogies, have we met before?
Ah, I have to wait for the Titanic to submerge completely before I jump ship, and can’t get off of it the moment I see it take on water.
:dubious:
further, Pizza, can you please tell me how yours isn’t a handshake variant?
Can you tell me how the defense any player puts up against your plan won’t be constructed by their scum mates?
Can you tell me how your plan avoids the Peeker, Roosh, and Meekos of the world from being misread or even specifically outed for their idiosyncrasies?
Your entire plan is telegraphed in such a way that any person who can collaborate and confer with others on their team will be at a distinct advantage to innocent vanilla townies - those who can’t confer.
it’s early, I have coffee, and North Korea made me laugh already - it can’t be a bad day. that said, I realize I didn’t lift two of my votes during last night’s post as I intended
unvote Guiri
unvote USCDiver
now, let’s see what I missed while I was sleeping…
Only because when town comes out on Day 1 talking they end up with votes allowing the scum to lurk. That is why Day 1 unless we have more to go on than some hunch we should vote for lurkers. I made a post or two and garnered votes, how does that encourage town to talk? Just use me as an example I was collecting votes like shit attracts flies I shutup and no new votes since. So my vote will go on the he/she who lurks the most Day 1, with my vote being placed sometime today.
NOTE: I should have said this in the rules, but there are NO powers that affect voting in any way in this game. Therefore, if you see an irregularity in the vote count, it’s because I screwed it up. Please feel free to point it out if that happens, because with the number of votes going on, it’s inevitably going to.

Oh dear, that is not a giraffeboards.com URL. I’m afraid I can only serve my master.

:shakes fist: Darn you longed necked devil!
I want to say again that I’m not adverse to multi-voting, per se. But yet another downside to it is it really starts to exponentially complicate the whole vote tracking we need to analyse. “Don’t worry,” some have suggested, “It’s Story’s job to take care of that.” But it’s not. Not really. Story needs to figure out who’s getting lynched. That’s all. He doesn’t really care about officially tracking things like unvotes which is something we as players care an awful lot about.
Throwing 5 votes out there, unvoting 3, and then voting for 2 more lets a whole lot of things slip under the radar when the “official” vote counter comes out if we’re not paying attention.
God, I hate it when this happens. Here I am, all confident in my vote for you, and you throw this curveball at me. Or rather, you don’t. I’m not sure exactly how to explain it, since its more of a gut sense, but I don’t read Scum here. Ignoring my opinion regarding your original vote, I just don’t see why, as Scum, you would go for an OMGUS vote and then take it off once I explain myself. That just makes no sense to me, and I’m no longer comfortable with my vote on you. So
After rereading through, I’m still not seeing any scum motivations nor getting any scummy vibes from anyone. So that means no votes from me, at the moment.
I’m not feeling all that much yet, either. I figure that’s intentional; Day 1, we’re looking for any excuse to lynch someone. When I catch up after work today, I’m gonna pay a little extra attention to folks what’re staying out of dust-ups and conflicts, see if anything catches my eye.
seeing the votes consolidated like this really brings into light how scattershot Day 1 voting is when multi-vote is an option
can you link me to the vote counting robot you use elsewhere? I might be able to modify it for use here.
purely as devil’s advocate, a scum could do that in order to look active without committing - I’m not saying that’s what Chucara is doing, but it’s not uncommon in my (admittedly limited) experience; in fact, I’m hoping a better lynch candidate will present itself before EOD
I believe that was me who said that, and we only know that Story is cherry picking actual current votes for his votecounts now that we’ve actually had an official vote count. I was being optimistic that his vote counts, as they are in many games, would track unvotes as well, but I see he’d rather throw a grenade into a room full of paranoid people instead.
