And all Day long people were telling me that I was wrong, and that a the Barn message was entirely consistent with a Detective’s investigation. It took a while for the message to get through my thick skull, but in the end I came around.
So I must be Scum because I can’t possibly be that dim-witted.
Thanks for the vote of confidence there…I only wish I were that infallible.
I wasn’t referring to the people who have hardly played. I’m talking about the rest of the Town. What do you think about some of the higher (or even mid) volume players? Is there anyone there who pings you as Scummy?
I’d like to see your PM, for sure. If you truly are a “movie extra” vanilla, I’d remove my vote if somebody else can corroborate also being a vanilla movie extra.
Well, in De’endee I had two kinds of vanilla claim. But really, it’s just good sense. Why rule it out immediately? If somebody pipes up and says “uh, me too?”, I’d certainly think harder about following through on his lynch.
Although, come to think of it, my two claims were “NPC Townsperson” and “NPC [some class]”, which thematically fit the game. “Movie Extra” doesn’t fit the color at all, and I think comes from the Evil Dead 2 game.
May I suggest that you go back and read the entire sample role PM?
The gist of the PM is that the player is, in fact, an extra in a B-horror movie.
I don’t have anything to say about the “Move Extra” role title, though. I could see it making sense, but I could also see it being a scum slip on Mahaloth’s because he remembered the flavor of the sample PM but not the actual role title.
I think that the role “Movie Extra” fits the bill just fine as far as being ‘a role in this game’. But since every Vanilla Town we’ve seen so far (and we’ve seen plenty) has been identified as “Peasant Redshirt”, I don’t believe **Mahaloth **is Vanilla Town.
Well, shoot, y’all is right. It does say Peasant Readshirt. However, it does mention “extra” in it. I apologize for the error, especially once I get lynched for it. I was mobile and did not flip over to my PM. Here it is, for those who care:
This is going to be a classic lynch if I get lynched. The time Maha forgot his role title. I do apologize and beg you to reconsider; I was obviously not thinking clearly.
This is my first game with ortho, and I believe ortho’s first game? But I cannot help but read his (few) posts in my uncle Carl’s voice. My uncle is a jokester/ham, and his tongue-in-cheek schtick that he pulls constantly in the kitchen is that he is forever being ganged up on and ‘abused’ by his loving wife and his two loving kids, my cousins.
I’m biased about my uncle though, and I think he’s awesome.
Trying not to apply such a ‘trusted’ filter to ortho, his posts do get my attention as a bit too smarmy. In particular, throwing in a vote for the claimed Mason seems like ‘scum wouldn’t do that’ theater.
Prior to today I was about 99.9% unaware that he was playing, which is another strike against him.
Vote ortho
I’m going to put another vote down, this one for Dizzy.
Vote Dizzy
My suspicion of Dizzy hasn’t gone anywhere. I voted for her yesterday in the pre-Diggit-claim-voter pack, and that suspicion was not diminished in spite of her voting to lynch Stan. Apparent issues with the board are a null tell, but what isn’t a null tell was when she tried to suggest that I was being a hypocrite because I was somehow giving Bable a pass for being new while persecuting Dizzy for being new, which puts a significant spin on my motivations that doesn’t sit well with me.
Not really, it is a plausible artifact of mutli-voting. Busing is tried and true scum behavior as well. I’d prefer to lynch Dizzy of the two though, and if they end up close to a tie I’d consider removing my vote on ortho.
