I’ve weakish Town reads on a few, and a slight Scum read on only one:

This read follows others’ comments, as well as some (problematic) issues I won’t try to articulate. (I’m sure my failure to explain will be treated as Scummy, but, frankly, it’s annoying to spend time trying to be helpful knowing my comments are scrutinized for possible scumminess and have no other effect. I am Town but, if Lynched, may be little loss – I’m a bad player.)

Rereading MHaye I get no Scum read. He, but especially others, are relatively quiet which is likely where some Scum are hiding. As of now, only Astral reads as likely Scum to me but I’ll read other cases, if presented.

As for the Songkran Water Festival, a main purpose of the watering is that April is the hottest month; this April is no exception. The pretty young girls are as pretty and young as ever, if not more so, but the same can’t be said of me. It was the mothers of these girls who were the pretty young girls when I first came to the village, and I was too old for them then. :smack:

I think we’re in agreement. My question was to ToeJam about his vote on Fubbles. He seems to think he’s a non-win-stealing third party rather than scum and I question the wish to lynch non-scum, especially if that claimed wincon is true.

I don’t remember that vote, do you have a link? I know PetW had fubbles on his suspicion list for that reasons; that’s part of why I voted for him.

And again, I think in light of the PM that Gad just revealed- one interesting thing that no one’s mentioned- it’s MOST money ALIVE OR DEAD.

I could easily see a player with that condition negotiating with scum to work with them just for the money, and even in death, still winning as long as they die with expensive items and enough money from other players or being bought off from scum.

The fact that you went silent on that part, but chose to attack the source of the quotes just makes me feel like that one might have struck too close to home for you.

I’ve not tried to do this myself, but it shouldn’t be hard to figure out who, if anyone, Gadarene’s contact is. Several players can be ruled out by Gadarene’s discussion. He posts an alleged PM verbatim and (although I’m too groggy and lazy to attempt it now myself) it shouldn’t be hard to compare styles and make a good guess about the PM’s author.

But … it seems possible the whole PM is just Gadarene’s forgery. The idea advanced earlier that Astral and Gadarene are fellow Scum bussing each other seems plausible. I’m almost tempted to move my Vote to Gadarene and take up Fubble’s offer …

Yes, I agree with this. I think the only elemental issue with the items would be that if an item were associated with an element (e.g. blue item=water) that its effects would be modified by the person who was receiving them. That is, if a blue item was water it would be more effective at damaging a fire aligned person and less effective at healing a fire aligned person depending on what the item did, if it did anything at all. But I don’t think you have to worry about an item in your possession harming you.

I’m assuming they were scum because 1. Only Town were killed and 2. A townie was killed in a fashion that still keeps the top 2 lynch candidates under suspicion.
If the top 2 lynch candidates are spared and a relatively innocuous townie is killed, that seems pretty indicative of scum. It is possible, of course, that the extra votes were townie, but I doubt it.

Guiri, he is saying that if Astral or Gadarene were Town, they would have been lynched, so the fact that they didn’t means they are more likely Scum. It wouldn’t have made sense for the demon to lynch Mosier when he could have lynched Astral or Gadarene.

I disagree, but I don’t think what he is saying is inconsistent.
