This feels so weird. I played a lot of games of Mafia between 2004 and, like, 2019, but absolutely none in the last few years. Seeing people vote without using blue text is going to confuse me for a while.

So two things about approval / multi-vote:
It means that players have very little excuse/reason not to be a real part of the final vote each day - either voting for a leading candidate or clearly and explicitly declining to do so, with reasons. If your primary suspect isn’t a serious candidate, you can keep your one- or two-off vote to register your suspicion but still register a meaningful opinion on the day’s main discussion.
I think it would be helpful if we’re all pretty specific about our confidence level in any given vote - if you have three or four votes open, it’d be advisable I think to make sure that everyone is clear on which one would be your first choice.
