Care to explain why the biotop vote?
Since you asked so politely, neighbor, sure: I think Biotop might be scum based on their posts so far.
You think incorrectly.
Don’t tell me the moon is shining; show me the glint of light on broken glass.
(Note: This and previous Chekov/Shakespeare quotes shamelessly lifted from quotation sites and alas not the product of any special literary familiarity.)
Which means snoe, explain yourself.
puts on knockoff Sherlock Homes novelty hat
My working theory, seeing as how I already got a weird vibe from Prof P.
Snoe, a “rather inexperienced” player, threw an early throwaway vote on fellow scummer Professor Perripepperpuddle. Seeing Chronos’s votecount and a fair bit of squinting at Professor Poodlepopper, snoe panicked and switched their vote!
unvote Biotop
vote Professor Pepperwinkle
I think I made it pretty clear a while back why I had negative reactions to the early posts by Biotop and PP. For those who’ve forgotten, will post links to my own posts in my next post.
And frankly, I resent all this “justify your existence” shit on Day One. Go pick on someone else, both of you.
No, Shit-Sherlock ;). But with so little to go on, good show nonetheless.
Here’s me side-eyeing Prof P.
And here’s why Biotop was on my list.
For those who forgot, or just wanted to press me.
This statement would be true no matter my side. Why do you read it as Scummy?
1)With little else to go on, it strikes me as performative.
Maybe that’s your thing, though. Chances are I’m wrong. I have a ~5/6 chance of being wrong just using chance; with relatively little voting behavior to go on, I doubt I’m doing much better than chance.
I happen to think voting is a)our democratic right as citizens of the town - town or scum; b) a useful tool for putting pressure on players who seem suspicious.
Why, Biotop and Faulkner, do you have such a problem when I exercise my franchise without proffering a detailed explanation at the time of voting?
I did. See that bit just after my vote…
At first it was a bit of a pressure vote and to break the ice. But I think I’ll keep my vote there for now as you seem to be flailing a bit under said pressure.
I am trying to judge you on sincerity. Anyone can vote. I prefer to try and judge motives. This is not merely a game of chance.
Yeah, it is by no means a game of chance. I’ve tried a number of ways in the last couple o’ years to use statistical advantages… and they just don’t work.
We’re all too clever by half for that.
Speaking of statistics, I’m past due to post:
W
Unofficial vote count ('cause I’m helpful like that):
2 totally undeserved votes - Prof. Pepperwinkle (all around nice guy)
1 vote each - snoe, snfaulkner, Knowed Out, Stranger on a Train, Biotop
We still have three days.
BTW, snfaulkner and Biotop leading the post count means nothing either way.
vote Mahaloth
for being even quieter than usual.
Scum are highly moviated to agitate other people and set them against one another. Have you never seen a Coen brothers movie?
