Why volunteer that you are not any kind of cop? You are under zero pressure and just narrowed a pool for scum.

If you are banging your head against the wall it’s because you are stubborn and refuse to adapt your gameplay. If it’s not working, fix it.

Thoughts:
So I’m on page 5 of D2 so far…
Thoughts so far (Cuz I can’t do this all day sadly):
Post 62 by Chrys. Is interesting. It’s the first mention of just a subtle curiosity about claims and how they would be treated. Means nothing but with information now, it’s pretty much the first time in D2 it comes up.
FOS Sachetorte for posts 135 and 140:
The first part is whatever. Basically we’d see another townie in a really unfortunate day 1 set up. But that’s not the suspicious part. It’s the 2nd part. The blank advocating for encouraging everyone to just resume/pile on the **ToeJam **votes despite now having more information. This is just encouraging a train without even thinking about the rest of the data.
**Sach **is one of the best at this game, the OGs of this stuff. He’s not a newbie player, and so this sort of a thing is a bit odd from him.
Then in 140 we get this:
It gets pointed out by a few other people- but he’s encouraging the 2nd lynch set up- and (as others would later point out)- it does not seem like a good idea- it’s just increasing the tempo of the days, adding to risks of scum manipulation. Having a mandated 2nd Lynch actually takes AWAY voting records, and allows people to throw away votes but then jump on a pre-made 2nd lynch bandwagon. It’s easy to hide in 2nd lynch dummy vote set up when it favors you, and it’s also something where if it doesn’t favor you, you can suddenly become the “indignant townie” and try to rustle up votes to basically prevent the dummy lynch.
Again… I’d expect **Sach **to know the sped up mechanics are not a good thing right now. I’d think of him as being more meticulous than just recommending policies which can really hurt the town (Autocreating a bandwagon and then adding another lynch to each day).
Speaking of lynches. There's only 2 lynches today. I believe the Mods implied there could be up to 3? I'm only up to page 5, but not a lots been said about that- the idea that potentially we're missing a 3rd kill (to trigger the 3rd lynch) or is it perhaps a different mechanism that creates the 3rd lynch? WIFOM. But interesting to note that noone's talked about that potential. I fear nights could be bloodier, as there was talk of scum kill and a Vig kill. But could there be more? it didn't get much traction.
Though I will say *page 2 of this thread (D2)* is worth re-reading probably as we get into later days. There was a lot going on, and good talking there that when we have more information will be useful. A lot of snuggling and accusations. Just a mental note for the town.
Post 186
I gotta say as well. Post 186, this is the first mention of switches in the day. Points to Brewha’s Switchy Credibility in that he’s the first to talk about it, and he’s been making alot of statements early in the day with confidence (re: knowing what his switch does and not being worried about a counter-claim or anything).
It’s certainly creating a townie sheen for him as of page 4-5. Though I don’t think i’ve gotten to any lies yet either, and noone else has claimed fully either. So I’m still reading though the day. If I voted by page 5, my vote would have been for **Sachetorte **most likely.
–>Again, this is ballsy. And I’m not sure where it’s going. It’s a ballsy proposal, and it’s interesting he’s posting/suggesting these things without any heat on him already. Like it’s enough where I’m doubting my vote on the guy right now. He doesn’t seem scummy so far… But that’s why we read on.
Also. Goddamn **Meeko**. Your posts are just... I don't know. At least you're consistent in your style of just the sound and the fury with random references to spongebob thrown in.
I understand. I know I cannot participate as well M-F’s, and that’s just shitty.
I also know that yeah, there’s NO reason for scum to target me as I’m a free lynch Tomorrow. I expect to hang and will try my best to deal with it.
Sorry for real life.
Because, you know, it really is just that simple.
Oh, and let’s not actually weigh or determine “right” here. Nope, simply change without any actual thinking. I must be wrong, because, reasons.
Meeko i haven’t played with you before. I guess this is you doing you, but I’m fairly confused.
I reserve the right to continue to believe that Meeko is scummy, but I appear to be alone in that boat, so I will hold off until I can add to my case.
Lynch all Liars is probably the only policy vote that I’m good with under most circumstances.
Unvote
Vote brewha
If brewha flips scum, then Crys is an easy contender for tomorrow’s lynch (should he survive). If we lynch Crys and he flips cultist, that doesn’t tell us very much about brewha. Brewha is still a liar.
If I thought we had enough participation/cohesion to do it, I would say let’s try to get Crys into the 2nd lynch, but I don’t see that happening.
I would buy this if I didn’t see the clear benefit that an outed Crys gains for their claimed role and hypothetical teammates. Grasping blindly is slow and fails easily… by outing themselves several people have openly stated they are not cultists and several more have shown logic that eliminates them from being cultists… if Crys is telling the truth then they have effectively narrowed the pool they have to look at to find their teammates.
A couple of other thoughts here.

She btw lol…but I don’t expect to survive the night given what I have said I would be very suprised if I survived the lynch and then woke up tomorrow
Wait, what?
I thought we got this straightened out Night 0. The rules say:
Therefore there **can **be a SK who can win if and only if they meet their win condition before town and wolves and mafia meet theirs.
Do pardon me, madam.
NETA the ands at the end should be ors.
Thoughts Pt.2
Ooh. Now i see. I didn’t think (or know) that scum had watcher type roles. Yeah. This is a TERRIBLE IDEA:smack:. (Page 5). And now I see see the scumminess of Brewha
-R
Interesting also that a Townie is claiming to control another townie's (The Vig) power. Though I guess the balance is that the Vig is a mandatory vig. But still. Odd Game design choice if it's real.
-I wonder if the switches are being given out (Ie: A tinker type role, they're usually 3rd party- who can give out 'items' to various people. But **Brewha** states he got his stuff on Night 0.
-I think Brewha may be female. My bad.

I would argue that a vig of the lynch runner up is much more useful. Colby being (presumably) vigged last night allowed us to go on today without talking about whether he slipped and gives us the colby wagon to analyse.
This... I'm actually more okay with than a Dummy Lynch plan. I'm fine with giving a known Townie (Vig) the knife rather than hiding votes. This is what I expect from you **Satch**. It took your doppleganger to suggest it.
Also, (a Rooshian Gastard Idea): If we have scum watchers, every Vanilla Town should still target themselves then every night just to see if that gives confounding results to the scum. Every little bit to annoy scum helps. (Because if I was a Mod, I’d totally give that result back to the Watcher: X targeted themselves last night. Just more WIFOM.

Here is my problem with your statement, or concern perhaps. What stops **ToeJam** from showing up at the last minute and stopping the mod-kill? I've "nominated" my second place choice for the moment, so it's not like I'm not looking at other candidates, but I don't want to remove the heat from **ToeJam** on the assumption that the mods will handle it. He has a really easy out from that. I wish we had conditional voting. Here, let me ask. [snipped]
Jesus. You're a bloodthirsty one. And advocating for a double lynch policy. Again. I dislike the speeding up the death of townies thing. Just either vote for me or Vig me, but you don't need to negotiate with the Mods to Modkill me and get a 2nd vote.
Especially when you don't explain why- it's just a continuation of your Day 1 stuff whatever that is. Like a week's gone by in the game, and you don't have anything really to contribute by page 6 other than still focusing on a guy who hasn't posted since midway through Day1? It's a bit much.
Anyways. Done with page 6, and I think I'm going to have to stop there for now!
More thoughts hopefully to come and I can catch up.
It's nice to have the Days go into the weekends more.

At the risk of doing it again, i ninja’d him on the brewha pm post. I just linked it though instead of grabbing the text.
And as a result he commented on my sleek plumage. Ninja-raven!
I’m confused by this… part of my belief of your claim was based on the fact that your. Your claim makes things easy on your team… but above you say that you feel that wouldn’t be in the spirit of the game…

This isn’t true… as I have pointed out… the win resolution order lays it out… exclusive 3rd party wins are superceded by town or scum wins. It doesn’t lay out non-exclusive 3rd party wins because they are self explanatory… they don’t interfere with the win resolution laid out.

I am sure this has probably
been pointed out- and I am saying it again anyway
** Crys ,etal ** If you have a Bodyguard switch ( or a Beta Wolf switch), no matter your alignment- you want that switch ON * even the factions that have the power to ‘bodyguard’ may well take the risk*
If a killer aims at the protectee, they will get the protector instead. and the next round they will have a free shot at the formerly protected player with the knowledge that they were important enough to protect.
If a killer aims at the protector the protector will be killed.
There seems to be no down side to leaving that switch ON
Note to switchers- research your power target.
Or are you stating that you think Crys is telling mixed truth and is 3rd party with an exclusive wincon and that wincon is not survival in nature? That changes things considerably. Even so, I don’t think it’s an issue that town needs to address on D2 with 5 dead town and no dead scum.

That’s a joke about raventhief ninjaing my answer to the question.
