I would definitely like to hear your case against me, pedescribe. Last game, I could understand how some of my newb-as-hell town behaviors could appear scummy, but I just don’t see it this time. Maybe you just don’t like cats. ;p
OK, everyone, I’ve been mulling it over for a while now, and I have concluded that it is in the Town’s best interest if I claim today, for reasons that I will explain shortly.
I am a Mason.
The reason I am claiming now is because there are only two of us (not three as is usual and as many have speculated), and if one of us is killed overnight, the other will be unconfirmable, which is our most useful function to the Town. I believe that I will be a top scum target toNight for the following reasons:

[li]I had a leading role in Mad’s lynch[/li][li]I am leading the charge against fluiddruid, who I believe will turn up scum when lynched (which looks good to happen today)[/li][li]Several players have listed me on their “probable” Town lists today, making me a fairly trusted Townie[/li][li]I have two other reasons, but revealing them would negate their value, so I won’t list them here[/li][/ul]
I believe that my Masonic compatriot should also come forward so that we can confirm each other, but in case s/he disagrees with my choice here, I will let him/her speak (or not speak) for him/herself. I hope you agree with my move 
I am doing this now so as to avoid any last minute drama on Thursday, and to leave plenty of time for discussion if necessary. For those who think I am claiming too early, I can only say that I feel like this is the correct move based on my read of the game so far.

I am bewildered by this development.
I trust it, as I trust Shadow Facts, and besides peekercpa has been a bit of a loose cannon, it makes more sense if s/he had backup.
But…, actually, no, ShadowFacts has a good point. I can see the mafia killing him off, simply to reduce our “trusted townies” pool. The problem is, even with an extra trusted townie today, I can still see the mafia killing you both off, Shadow tonight and peek tommorow. Unless those unstated reasons are extra powers you can use to fend the assassains off, I’m not quite sure that was the right decision.

For the sake of argument… what do you hope to gain here? Sure, you’ve confirmed each other. To what end? To show that the lynch attempt on me was started by a townie? I myself indicated that I thought it was the case, and that you were the closest that we have to a confirmed town player. Nobody’s disputed it. So what now? You’re Town, great. So what? What’s the next step from here? Why bother to claim when neither of you are in real jeopardy?
You’ve confirmed each other. Great. But in the end, we have no Doctor, and the best you’ve bought us is maybe saving the Detective an investigation (if he/she believes you), in exchange for making you plum night kill targets because you’re basically unlynchable unless you’re challenged (and no two scum players are going to be stupid enough to fake Mason now)
Bad for Town. Bad bad bad. 
Furthermore, you’re driving the lynch against me hard. Fine. What happens if/when I turn up Town? You’ve raised no other possible suspects Today. In fact we have barely discussed anyone but me and MTS today. So that will leave you with absolutely nothing tomorrow, even if I’m scum – because you’ve given everyone an easy vote, and the remaining people will be a bunch of one-off votes and hard to track. Again, bad for Town.
I said it before, I’ll say it again - lynch me if you like, but at the very least we need to get something out of it. As of right now I don’t think that’s the case because it’s basically turned into a “lynch Fluiddruid, yea/nay” referendum and it’s going to be way too easy for scum to hide when there’s no real debate.

And I noticed that you’ve had a lot to say toDay, NAF, about not voting fluiddruid, but you haven’t said a damn thing about who you do think is scummy. Perhaps you would like to do so at some point.
And mindwanderer, I noticed in my re-read that you mentioned finding nanook scummy, but weren’t sure that anyone else agrees. I do, especially if fluiddruid turns out scum, as I expect to happen. I’ve seen a lot of mutual snuggly-type posts between the two. In case one of us drops dead overnight, I wanted to go ahead and get that out there.

Two quick points. First, I don’t think fluid isn’t scummy, I think the town at large is being blind and even if she is scum we will be lucky at best. My last non fluff post I said that the case isn’t without merrit, but the bandwagon has grown too quickly and without decent analysis from most of the voters.
My other point is, tax season. I mentioned it a couple of times already. I haven’t been able to actally do any analysis of what went down yesterday, so I don’t have a suspect yet. Sorry, I plan to rectify that when I get to a compter in the am.
Well, it was what initially pinged me about him. It was the tying vote between fluiddruid and Menocchio, and it was not exactly well justified.
It’s potentially a piece in the case against zuma.
