I think you have to wait until the next day to vote. Oh, and I’m not certain she is scum, I’m certain she has posted scummy. To be honest, I don’t care if she is scum or town as long as she isn’t a power-role. If anyone wants a clarification, just ask me and I’ll try to provide.
yes I was composing between phone calls in an email editor , and then posted into the browser to find a whole lot had happened and the day ended so none of that counts.
Plus it is night so no more strategy / wolf hunting discussions
Blarg. I’ve been dealing with a dead Exchange server the last 24 hours. I thought I’d be back before deadline, but I guess not. Thoughts to follow when it is day again.
DUSK: DAY ONE
*The first Day seemed unusually long - almost as if some omniscient moderator was allowing extra time for discussion, absurd as that idea might seem - and it took some time to reach consensus. septimus went a bit mad at the end, but this was nothing new; most folks, Wolf and Human alike, find themselves going a bit mad when they face the gallows. A last-minute plea for mercy went mostly unanswered, and septimus faced his end with sangfroid. The noun, not the player.
When the deed was done, they smashed the door to his cabin and searched therein… but there were no signs of Wolf-itude to be found (frankly, your narrator is not sure what constitutes a sign of Wolf-itude, anyway. Excess lint?). His possessions were mostly unremarkable: a cookbook, a few carpenter’s tools, a long handled sword forged out of the purest silver, with an edge so keen it nearly cut the observer just looking at it, and also a chamber pot, because everyone needs one of those. Most of the stuff was auctioned off, and the proceeds used to repair the door to septimus’ dwelling.
Since no one in Cecilton had any idea how to use a sword, they jammed it into a rock at the side of town and inscribed some nonsense about the King of All England into the stone. It just sort of seemed like the thing to do.*
septimus, the Guardian, has been lynched.
Night One begins here, and will end at noon EST on Wednesday, July 29. Only non-game discussion is permitted in this thread until that time; Wolves are welcome to have at it.
**Can we get the final vote count please? **
Jesus christ.
D’OH!
:smack:
(sorry…re-watching the Simpsons from the first season with the kids - kinda got Homer on the brain…)
What a bunch of shit. I suggest killing Prof. Pepperwhateveritis and Jsexton ASAP.
Aggh. About the worst possible result. Dammit.
And, just junior-modding, mind you: Night is for fluffy stuff.
There’s a lot to be said, but not until the night is over. In the meanwhile, plenty of time to re-read and prep our 20/20 hindsight.
Sigh.
Oh, hey, since we’re in fluff-only mode: Biotop, are you in fact actually a miller (albeit a more modern one who commutes in a motorized vehicle), or is that just a persona for the sake of the game?
My bad. I missed we had no strategy at Night in this game. Apologies all around!
Hard to fluff when I am so heartsick. No I manage at a grocery store.
Dawn on Wednesday AM correct?
sits in corner
sighs
pours large glass of something strong in memory of Septimus
Should we pour some out for da homie dat aint wit us no mo?
Sorry, couldn’t resist.
“Spyder traditional drinks have a taste like no other currently in the market place”
There may be a good reason why those tastes are not on the market, I am not sure I could order a pint of Dog and Cock.
Anyway cool looking brewery/drink maker, I used to like Dandelion and Burdock as a youngster.
That was … a hell of a final day.
Speaking of brewhouses, and not that I want to give anyone ideas, but apparently there is a Nonsuch Inn.
